HOW DO I WATCH AFROBEATS LIVE?
You can either purchase tickets to attend the events or watch live on our page.
Tickets start at £20 and go up to £45 for the concerts
Our ticket partners are shoobs.com but you can visit our ticket page and click on the dates you want which will direct you appropriately.
We have over 100 performers throughout the series in 2021 for both the virtual and live events. Look out for announcements or check out our promotional materials including artists profiles.
CAN I BUY VIP TICKETS TO MEET THE ARTISTS?
VIP Tickets will only be available for the large events at The Oval Space and if signed up early you can buy meet and greet tickets.
We do our very best to ensure that our venues and spaces are compliant with all covid regulations, cleaned and disinfected thoroughly and at regular intervals and we temperature check all staff prior to every event. The brunches adhere to the covid19 rule of 6 and we provide hand sanitisation, wet wipes and disinfect all surfaces and door handles.
WILL I NEED TO BE VACINATED TO ATTEND AFROBEATS LIVE?
NO. Never! Since being vaccinated is a medical undertaking and personal to each individual, we cannot ask you about what you have chosen to put in or not put into your body. It isn’t a legal requirement.
DO I NEED TO WEAR A FACE MASK TO ATTEND AFROBEATS LIVE?
We are being guided by the venue management who are working closely with the government guidelines. People who are exempt are certainly not required and you do not need to provide any proof of exemption. Unless masks are mandatory, it will be the individuals choice.
The tickets are not refundable but are transferable for future dates. We would however consider refunds in exceptional circumstances. Email support@afrobeatslive.com should this apply to you.
WHAT IF THERE IS ANOTHER LOCKDOWN?
Should the UK experience another lockdown, you can either transfer your ticket for a later date, use it to subscribe to the Afrobeats live x premium platform to watch the virtual edition. The show still goes on.
WILL ARTISTS STILL PERFORM IF THERE IS A LOCKDOWN?
We created the streaming platform and our state of the art studio as a result of the situation we as promoters found ourselves in 2020. In that vain , we discovered that we can have more people attending our events virtually from anywhere in the world than we could ever do at Live events. Our drive was to create a unique and immersive experience for viewers and supporting the artists doing what they do best, performing.
WHERE IS AFROBEATS LIVE BROADCASTED?
Afrobeats Live can be watched in over 180 countries around the world and is available via AfroVibes on Amazon, Roku TV and Apple.
DO ARTISTS GET PAID TO PERFORM ON AFROBEATS LIVE?
Yes all our billed artists are paid a fair fee to perform on Afrobeats Live.
ARE ROYALTY PAYMENTS AND SYNCRONISATION AVAILABLE TO ARTISTS?
Yes our platform are full licenced.
IS THERE DISABLED ACCESS AT THE VENUES AND IS IT SAFE FOR DISABLED CUSTOMERS?
All the Oval Space events have disabled access. Please let us know in advance of attending so we can ensure smooth arrival and assign an usher to assist you.
WILL THERE BE FOOD AT THE VENUE?
Yes, small chops and food will be available for an additional cost per head and catered for by a professional chef from Shakarah Catering. Menus for each event can be previewed on shoobs.
WHERE DO YOU ADVERTISE AFROBEATS LIVE?
Afrobeats Live have an array of media partners with key outlets including but not limited to Capital Xtra radio, GRM Daily, Link UP TV, Afrovibes TV, Vox Africa, Metro, Time Out, Voice Newspaper and many more. We also have street posters, billboards across London and Europe.
HOW CAN I PERFORM OR GET MY ARTIST ON AFROBEATS LIVE?
You can write and send your artist profile to bookings@dlaworld.com – We pride ourselves in keeping our ears to the ground and finding talent. The chances are if you are an afrobeats artist and have good content out, we would already have our eyes on you. Feel free to contact us.
WHAT ELSE APART FROM PERFORMING CAN ARTISTS GET FROM PERFORMING ON AFROBEATS LIVE?
It goes without saying that performing and having access to an audience outside of your circle is beneficial. We like to work with artist and support their marketing campaigns by giving them headline opportunities. Access to our media partner platforms, radio interviews, tv interviews and features in music print which can boost their profile and following. In addition, we support their journey and give advise and access to our pool of resources and at times financially support their ventures.
WHO DESIGNS ALL THE GREAT STAGE SETS WE HAVE BEEN SEEING OVER THE YEARS?
The sets are all designed by Founder, May7ven who is a creative and visionary.
I HEARD THAT FILMING ISNT PERMITTED AT AFROBEATS LIVE?
We have changed our filming policy to enable us to give our online audience the best quality and exclusive content. Filming for any duration longer than 2 minutes on your phone isn’t permitted and professional camera’s are banned from all venues. Our in-house Afrobeats live crew will be responsible for filming and taking pictures and will provide content to all media out lets.
WHAT IF MY ARTIST IS ON STAGE PERFORMING AND I WANT TO FILM IT FOR PERSONAL USE?
This will have to be agreed in writing with the producers videos@choicedigitaltv.com and based on the requirements, we may sub-contract our film crew.
WHERE CAN I WATCH AFROBEATS LIVE?
Go and sign up to and on our Watch live page where we have free content. Our premium site has exclusive content which you can pay for.
